Digital Optimisation Manager

About You

You’re a passionate Digital Media Professional, with 4+ years of experience.  You may be working as a digital media planner/buyer or within a programmatic/biddable trading team.

The Role

You'll work with the world’s most ambitious advertisers to help them flourish and deploy a best-in-class approach to digital and importantly programmatic media buying.

As part of the ID Comms team, you’ll oversee and manage digital optimisation projects, working closely with our programmatic, paid search and paid social analysts to evaluate current media buying practices, utilising your collective knowledge to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

You'll work closely with client media leads across brands to design better ways of operating digital media buying, before supporting the deployment of initiatives and tracking their value.

As you develop, you’ll look to play an integral role in the strategic development of ID Comms digital offering, ensuring that we continue to offer a best-in-class proposition.

 

Key Responsibilities


  • Conducting digital  audits / reviews, utilising ID Comms proprietary framework, combining with your digital media knowledge, to identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities
  • Managing and collaborating with digital analysts to identify key opportunities for better ways to set up, buy and optimise digital media to drive results
  • Designing improvement programmes that support clients to reduce waste and improve the effectiveness of investment
  • Liaising with agency teams to ensure a fair and robust assessments
  • Utilising digital trading knowledge/expertise to ensure each project output is fit for purpose, contains strategic thinking and delivers significant value
  • Acting as a key client contact, listening to their challenges, identifying and recommending the right solutions to clients, based on their needs

 

Your Essential Attributes


  • 4+ years’ experience in digital media buying/trading roles including Programmatic
  • Experience in digital / programmatic planning (media plans, inventory selection, forecasting)
  • Experience analysing large data sets to to discover actionable optimisation insights
  • Experience working directly with clients and leading conversations / presentations
  • Advanced reporting skills across various DSPs
  • Up to date knowledge of other common programmatic tools i.e AdServer, ad verification tools
  • Excellent understanding of digital data, metrics (e.g. viewability, CPM, CPV etc.) and measurement
  • Experience analysing large data sets to prescribed processes and methodologies
  • Great communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into easy to understand narrative
  • Actively contribute and/ or lead production of client facing materials for review
  • Great organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience using Google Workspace and TeamWork (or similar online collaboration platform)

  • You must have the right to work in the UK. 
  • This is a remote role and you'll be supported to work remotely anywhere within Europe time zones, preferably +/- 2 hours to GMT.
  • This role is full-time (usually 9:00am-5:00pm / 35 hours per week) and offers a full employment contract.
