Media Audit Analyst
We're recruiting a talented Media Audit Analyst to join our UK team.

About You
You are an advertising and media professional, having worked either in a media agency, a media house or a media audit firm; and are well acquainted with media buying and planning.
You understand basic media terminologies like GRP, Impressions, Reach, Frequency and are very comfortable managing, sifting through and analysing large volumes of media data and extracting meaningful insights from it. Acquiring this experience has advanced your skills at working with MS Excel / Powerpoint and/or Google Sheet / Slides; and you can frame excel formulas, pivots etc.
You are competent and experienced in creating presentations to report back findings and deliver a meaningful media story, backed by data. You are familiar with reporting through dashboards (being well versed in creating dashboards in Power BI or Tableau is an added edge).
You also relish imparting your knowledge and expertise to others within the team and proactively use your experience to build upon and improve processes and methodologies.
You’ll start to take a more significant role on projects, being given the opportunity to help define project objectives, scope, criteria and manage workflow on projects to ensure they’re delivered to our highest quality standards.
As an analyst at Band 3 you’ll have increased autonomy over your client engagements and workload as you work towards moving up the bandings.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients, agencies and other third parties to gather data
- Manage data requests to clients and agencies and be the first point of contact for queries relating to the data and analysis
- Data cleansing and transformation to enable data analysis
- Analyse large volumes of data (e.g. media price, performance and quality, inflation)
- Develop media analytical skills, including validation techniques and methodologies to enable inferences and conclusions on media value gained
- Ensure all analysis and methodologies conform to the company’s quality Investment standards
- Research and collect data to inform analysis – including company overviews
- Production of data reports and analysis tailored to clients' needs
- Work closely with consultant team to ensure all projects are delivered up to the quality standards of the company

The Investment team provides best-in-class media auditing and governance services, fit for the digital age, evaluating media buying efficiency and effectiveness. Our team of experts across traditional and digital media have ground floor access to some of the most ambitious advertisers and work with a globally distributed team of highly skilled consulting professionals to enable advertisers’ to account for their total media spend.
You’ll be working alongside a team of analysts and consultants based across different geographies with different specialisms to exceed our client’s expectations across a range of services offered by ID Comms, and help develop long term relationships across both our consulting and Investment practises.
Our team of Investment analysts are critical to the success of our business by analysing data and providing insights delivery and management.
Your Essential Attributes
- 3+ years’ experience in advertising and media, having worked either in a media agency, a media house or a media audit firm
- Up to date knowledge of media buying planning and Digital Media
- You understand basic media terminologies like GRP, Impressions, Reach, Frequency and are very comfortable managing, sifting through and analysing large volumes of media data and extracting meaningful insights from it
- Experience analysing large data sets to prescribed processes and methodologies
- Great communication skills with the ability to lead small projects & support delivery on larger scale projects
- Ability to translate complex analysis into narrative and actively contribute and/ or lead production of client facing materials for review
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Great organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment
- Excellent ability to share and cascade knowledge and passion throughout a team
- Strong interpersonal people skills & proactive team player

Qualifications
Any relevant qualification you possess. These can include:
- A marketing, business or graduate qualification
- Qualified to Bachelor Degree level - Post Graduate desirable

- This is a remote role and you'll be supported to work remotely anywhere within Europe time zones, preferably +/- 2 hours to GMT.
- This role is full-time (usually 9:00am-5:00pm / 35 hours per week) and offers a full employment contract.
